I cannot say enough for this seven mile stretch of coast. I've been back a few times, and each visit brings new wonders to see and explore. The diversity (and tenacity) of the plant life is the most immediately rewarding. Small animals like lizards, hawks, snakes, rabbits and moles abound, but are understandably difficult to photograph. Yesterday I caught a snake sun-bathing on a wooden bridge, but was unprepared with my camera so it "escaped" the most flattering portrait of its life! Truly, the sun setting cast everything in a most magnificent glow and lent even the mundane stuff an aura of triumphalism!
